According to some studies, it may be better to use paper in business as a more "greener" approach. The main reason being it is a lot easier to recycle paper than it is to recycle technology. I think this worlds developing into the type of place where were gonna use the new apple tablet instead of plain paper. But I think this may be a good thing. Yes it does safe paper 1, but it does use a lot of energy and recycling it is an issue. But were gonna get 5 years out of a laptop, and ten minutes out of a piece of paper. Its the beginning of December and we haven't to much snow up here in Mass. It snowed Sunday I believe. My brother lives in San Francisco, and I heard it might have snowed there today. I guess its just hailing where he is right now. All the Christmas specials are starting to come on TV now, I'm still not in the Christmas "spirit". This is the first segment I’ve ever had on this blog. I was thinking today about what more I could do with this site. I mean I only have 58 posts in a couple years. So this segment promises a least 1 post ever week. Weekly Follow is something I’m gonna write every week about what or who is a good to follow on twitter. Twitter has about 7 million users. Finding good people to follow is hard to do because some people post a tun and some people hardly post at all. Plus it’s the same with tweeting yourself. If you tweet to much people don’t wanna have a tun of posts only on you on their Twitter Dashboards. So this will help me with expanding my following on twitter and it will help me post more. So this week I’m gonna talk about a few as I like to call them “bots”. Bots are twitters for a companies. A “bot” I think every should follow is Twitter. It’s always good to know whats happening on Twitter, if bugs are being fixed, and new things are added. Twitter is very convenient with tweeting. It has the perfect amount of tweets. Follow Twitter. If you’ve visited the blog before, you’d know I’ve been a big fan of iminlikewithyou (omgpop). Well they have a twitter. It shows all the latest omgpop news. New games, new updates, fan feedback all that. Follow omgpop. Ustream has a twitter. Ustream doesn’t have a lot of tweets but it sticks to the important things which is why I like it. Follow Ustream. Facebook has a twitter. It does very little tweets. It sticks to the absolutly necasary. Which may be annoying to some people. I like Facebook a lot so I like it. Follow Facebook. Lastly Wefollow. Wefollow is a twitter user search engine. You search for people through tags. Wefollow’s twitter is all about updates to wefollow. Wefollow is one of my fav twitters. I logged on to Last.fm a while back and saw a difference in the radio. A huge difference. Instead of a radio tool its a screen of a slide-show of the artist your listening to. It still has all the buttons as a radio would have like skip, stop, tag, love, the same stuff. You can turn off the slide-show if you want but it doesn’t do anything bad. Just makes the radio a little more interesting. Big improvement by Last.fm. Good Job guys!
Wanna start blogging? I suggest Tumblr. Plus a lot like twitter. Twitter and Tumblr are micro blogging companies. They have different purposes. Tumblr is a simpler Twitter. With more options and possibilties. Also its for beginner bloggers. After a couple months of using it its not so cracked up to what I thought it would be. But its problably because I’m not a micro blogger, I’m a blogger(If you havn’t noticed) Twitter is for the people who want to know what your doing. Its more of a sharing community You tell people what your doing at the moment. So wanna start blogging join Tumblr, and if you decide your better than a micro blogger I suggest wordpress. This is all the artists I listen to. I listen to more. Like I said its Last.fm, I wanna listen to stuff I cant listen to normally. The artists names that are bigger have more listens.
Last.fm is clearly the best possible choice to listen to free music. It is now run by CBS Interactive and has been since 2007. It is similar to pandora in a lot of ways. Its based on the same geonome project. And you do get to listen to your favorite songs for free. As far as I know. I’m still exploring this website. Its still based on playing playlists and you rating them. It tries more similar music just like pandora. I think the main difference is that you get to search the music you want to listen to. It allows you to listen to your songs whenever you want as long as there released. Thats really the only problem with last.fm If its not some of the most poipular you gotta buy the mp3 to listen to it whenever you want. Plus you can listen to a lot songs from the same artist in the same playlist. So pretty much like, Pandora but a huge improvement. I actually recommend both. Yet if I had to pick it would have to be last.fm. All around great site and I highly recommend it. www.last.fmwww.pandora.com
